OVERVIEW

The Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) is the most recent innovation in workflow diagramming. It is supported by the Object Management Group (OMG) as a comprehensive approach to modeling workflows from analysis through implementation.

In this course, you will receive an introduction to BPMN, the dominant standard for workflow modeling, and you will complete workflow diagrams through practical exercises using the BPMN. Through a series of hands-on exercises, you will gain practical experience in workflow diagramming techniques that can be implemented in any workflow modeling notation. .

Workflow diagramming is an important skill for business analysts and is one of the key techniques described in the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK).
